How should I confirm the roles of a service provider and a hospital?

List the non-medical services
For transport or accommodation assistance, appointment coordination and accompanying services, confirm what is included, who provides it and the charges. Do not assume an item is included unless agreed.
Medical decisions belong to the hospital
The hospital confirms clinical assessments, examinations, eligibility, treatment plans and medical fees. Service coordination cannot replace a doctor’s assessment or guarantee eligibility or outcomes.
Keep written terms
Confirm dates, deliverables, cancellation or refund terms, a contact for disputes and receipts. Before paying, check that the recipient and purpose match the agreement.
